We were all distressed to hear the dreadful news that following a period of illness and suffering painful symptoms, David Peake has been diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. Whilst it is not thought that the cancer is curable, there is treatment available that has the potential of enhancing and increasing the remainder of David’s life.

Funds raised thermometer for David Peake Appeal

David Peake

We intend to do everything that we can to raise sufficient funds to enable David and his family to receive the very best treatment and support that is available – to do this we need your generous donations!!

The target is to raise £100,000 over the next six months to fund the ongoing treatment for David.

The Appeal fund has already received many indications of support and we now need to turn those kind sentiments into hard cash, so we are appealing to you to dig deep to make sure that we get the money side taken care of and David’s family can concentrate on providing the emotional support needed.

Kick starting the fund raising, a team of 8 from Grange Jaguar and Aston Martin completed the “3 Peaks Challenge for Peake” on Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th of July. Details of the challenge are here. The team completed the challenge within a difficult 24 hour time frame. The support for this challenge was fantastic and helped raise thousands of pounds towards the £100k goal.

Other fund raising activities are being arranged and will be added to this web site. We will keep a running total each day to show you how we are getting on with achieving our fund raising target.

Please make sure that you pass on your best wishes to David by adding your comments in the section below.

We would like to thank you for taking the time to visit our Appeal site and thank you for your generosity in supporting the fund raising efforts to help David’s treatment and support.

Thanks and best wishes

  7. Dear David

Just phoned the garage to check my car in and they told me about your illness.

I have no doubt my car will be completely unroadworthy without your professional attentions and likely scrapped within the year!

More seriously I send you my heartfelt best wishes and am pleased to hear you are staying upbeat.

Only know you from my annual service but always struck by your down to earth cheery nature which makes a dull day a good one.

    Dominic

It is a pleasure to do business with Grange Aston Martin because it is a pleasure to do business with chaps like you; a proper gentleman, you look after your customer and this ultimately reflects on the customer perception of Grange Aston Martin.
